Del Mar Horsepark Welcomes Exhibitors Back for Del Mar Sunshine Classic

Del Mar- July 10, 2023 - HITS Del Mar is thrilled to announce the return of exhibitors and spectators for the highly anticipated Sunshine Classic. After a period of closure and renovations, we are excited to invite everyone back for a week filled with thrilling equestrian classes and a range of special events.

The special events will kick off on Friday, July 14, at 3 pm with a unique experience for wine enthusiasts. Join us in the elegant Del Mar Ocean Club for a delightful wine tasting featuring exquisite locally produced wine from The Cov Wine. If you are still looking to purchase a table in our Del Mar Ocean Club, please email mikaila@hitsshows.com as they are almost sold out. 

We also invite exhibitors to leave their mark by participating in our mural painting event. Led by internationally renowned artist and sculptor Jerome Gastaldi, the creator of all the sculptures on display throughout the park. Our vendor area will transform into a colorful masterpiece on Friday, July 14, from 1 pm to 5 pm, and Saturday, July 15, from 9 am to 5 pm. It is an opportunity to showcase your artistic talents and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of Del Mar Horsepark. 

On Saturday, July 15, the excitement continues with our grand re-opening celebration starting promptly at 4 pm. Prepare for a day filled with exciting competitions and entertainment. The festivities will begin with a captivating dog agility and horse competition.

After a day of hunter and jumper events, brace yourself for the exhilarating $100,000 Bentley Motors Grand Prix. Witness the world's finest equestrian athletes compete for a piece of the cash prize and an Antares Sellier saddle, as they demonstrate their exceptional skills and grace on the course.

As the sun sets on this unforgettable day, prepare to groove to the beats of the renowned Bruno Mars cover band, 24K Magic. The evening will be filled with live music, creating a vibrant and electric atmosphere that will leave you dancing the night away.
