Jennifer Alfano Shines with Two Hunter Championships at HITS Ocala

Ocala, Fla. – February 16, 2023 – Jennifer Alfano has kicked off the fifth week of the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit in style, claiming two championship titles in the professional hunter divisions at HITS Post Time Farm. She began the day with the top tricolor in the Conformation Hunters with MTM Pocket Listing, and then went on to garner the Green 3’9” Hunter championship aboard Pendleton.

Alfano was thrilled with MTM Pocket Listing’s performance over the last two days, with the 8-year-old Westphalian gelding winning two of Conformation Hunter over fences classes, as well as the handy, the under saddle and the model. “He’s very beautiful,” she remarked. “He’s well put together, clean legged and pretty, so he’s ideal for the Conformation Hunters.”

Alfano later went on to win three classes in the Green 3’9” Hunter division with Pendleton, an 8-year-old Warmblood gelding owned by Kathy Chiaf, whom Chiaf shows in the Amateur-Owner Hunters. The division’s reserve championship title went to the winners of last week’s $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, Brian Feigus and Corragio, who also won this week’s $1,000 USHJA Green 3’6”/3’9” Incentive class.
