Please include the Trainer Name and Horse Show Venue you are attending in the Subject Line of your email.
Entries must be completed for all HITS Shows using the Show Management System Online Entry platform. Please be sure to check the respective event pages for the entry closing date of each week of competition.
USEF requires that all show participants must submit a signed liability waiver agreement in order to compete.
Please submit waiters via email to the Secretary email that corresponds with the horse show you are attending.
Each horse entering the show grounds is required to have a negative coggins (within a year) and proof of Flu/Rhino and EHV 1/4 vaccinations (within 6 months) . Please note that HITS Vermont and HITS Culpeper also require a Health Certificate/ Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (within 30 days) for each horse originating from outside of VT or VA.
Stabling assignments will be available 24 hours prior to your arrival. Please be sure to call in advance if you expect to arrive after the show office has closed. Feed orders can be place online using the online Feed & Bedding Form .
International Riders: All classes held during the 2024 HITS Hudson Valley Circuit will be held under National rules with regard to riders. If the capacity of International Riders exceeds the National riders rule, riders will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All International Riders must have an active, competing USEF Membership as well as having completed SafeSport Training for Riders 18 and Older.
Secure Stabling:
HJ106.2: All horses regardless of show or non-showing are required to submit an entry with the Horse Show Office and wear or display the back number at all times. Any horse without a back number or with an incorrect back number will be asked to leave the area.

All owners, riders, and trainers must be USEF and USHJA registered. Log into your USEF MyWay account to be sure you are an active member or to renew your membership. Equine Canada Members must have active Gold or Platinum memberships. All non-members will be charged show pass fees.
All participants 18 or over, must complete USEF Safe Sport Training. Any owner, rider, trainer, or registered owner of a farm is required to complete the training or refresher before they or any of their horses will be allowed to compete. For more information, please read the SafeSport FAQ’s.
Don’t forget your horse’s USEF and USHJA registrations – there is not a “Show Pass” option for a horse. All horses MUST be USHJA registered.
All horses must be microchipped and have the chip number recorded with USEF. Microchip numbers can be submitted online or faxed to USEF. For more information, please read the Microchip FAQ’s.
Horses and ponies showing in Small Junior Hunter 3’3″/3’6″ and ponies showing in the Pony Hunter, Children’s Pony Hunter, Low Children’s Pony Hunter, and Pony Jumper must have a measurement card in order to compete.
