Tack Room Decorating Contest
It's time to show off your tack room! Judges will be coming around doing their annual inspection. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated Tack Room during Sunday's $75,000 Grand Prix.

Groom's Class
The unsung hero is truly the star when the Groom's Class takes the stage. So come and celebrate a spirited Groom's Class competition.

Central Equine Relay
The Central Equine Relay features teams of three riders that will compete in a Nation's Cup-style class in the covered ring at HITS Thermal. The event is limited to 12 teams so sign-up today.

DC VIII

The Catena Leading Lady Award
sponsored by Catena, USA

Catena, USA will award the overall leading female Grand Prix rider who has won the most prize money in Grand Prix competition over the course of the eight week circuit with a Catena Swiss watch. Award presentation to take place after the Grand Prix.

Equine Idol
Sing your heart out at HITS Thermal's second-annual Equine Idol competition at the HITS Bar from 6-8 pm. Some of the sport's top trainers will serve as judges as some aspiring singers will compete for some great prizes.

Fine Equestrian Art on Display
Friday, January 30, 6 pm
Fine equestrian art will be on display during the $1,000 Pony Hunter Classic night class in the Indoor Arena at HITS Thermal.

Saturday, January 31, 6 pm
Fine equestrian art will be on display during the $50,000 Strongid ® C 2X FEI World Cup Qualifier in the Indoor Arena at HITS Thermal.

Equine Art Gala & Exhibitor Mixer
Fine equestrian art will be on display during the $50,000 Strongid® C 2X TM FEI World Cup Qualifier at HITS Thermal for the first-ever Equine Art Gala and Exhibitor Mixer.

Golf Tournament
The 2009 HITS Desert Circuit Golf Tournament crowned a new champion during Desert Circuit III when Monarch International came in at -14 to win the tournament that was held at Indian Palms Country Club in Indio, California.

Canine Affair & Exhibitor Mixer
presented by Purina Mills
The second-annual dog costume party and Exhibitor Mixer includes free food, a cash bar and prizes for the best costumes. All breeds, ages and sizes are welcome. Bring your camera!

Purina Mills Kids Day
This is always one of the most popular events at HITS. The afternoon is full of family fun and entertainment. Children will be treated to pony rides, clowns, slides, bouncy house, arts and crafts and loads of fun.

Beach Volleyball Tournament

The Indoor Arena will be the site of the first-annual beach volleyball tournament. Teams of four will compete in a single-elimination tournament. To sign-up, please see Chris Mayone in the horse show office.
