Specs. - Saugerties $1 Million Grand Prix – FEI CSI-5*

Who:
50 Riders from the FEI Section will qualify for the Saugerties Million (100 Riders total will be invited to compete in the FEI Section.)

ELIGIBILITY – FEI SECTION:

100 Riders total will be invited for the FEI Section, based on FEI Rules for CSI-5* events – Annex V: Invitation Rules for CSI 5* Events.

ELIGIBILITY – SAUGERTIES MILLION:
50 Riders will qualify for the Saugerties Million, based on FEI Art. 261.4, summarized below:
Automatic:  The current US National Champion; Individual Medal winners of the last Olympic and Pan-American Games; Individual Medal winners of the last
FEI World and FEI Continental Championships; the winner of the last FEI World Cup Final.
Qualifiers:  The remaining riders, to a maximum of 50, will qualify from the Qualifying Competition held earlier in the week.
 
HORSES PER RIDER LIMIT:
Riders may enter a total of Three horses for the FEI Division.  Further specifications available in the Official Draft Schedule.   Riders may show only ONE horse in the Saugerties Million.

CROSS ENTRY RESTRICTIONS:
The Horse may NOT compete in any non-FEI Class until finished competing in the FEI section. The Rider may NOT compete in any Junior or Amateur Jumper Class at the show.

SECURE STABLING:
Horses entered in any class of the FEI Division are required to stable in the FEI Secure Stabling area beginning Tuesday immediately following the jog until the horse is finished showing in the FEI Division.
