Specs. - Saugerties $1 Million Grand Prix – FEI CSI-5*

OFFICIAL ENTRY - Horses must be Officially Entered for the FEI Division and pay the FEI Nominating Fee of $250 and FEI Stall Fee of $375 by Friday, September 1, 5 pm (Definite Entry Date). Official Entry consists of registration through the FEI system and entry made directly to HITS. FEI Nominating Fee and FEI Stall Fee are not refundable after the Definite Date of Entries.
SCRATCH/WITHDRAWAL - Any Scratch/Withdrawal from the FEI Division must be in writing to the Show Office. Scratches received prior to Friday, September 1, 5 pm (Definite Entry Date) will be subject to a $50 Processing Fee if the horse does not show in any other classes. Scratches received after the Definite Entry Date will be responsible for payment of the FEI Nominating Fee and FEI Stall Fee. The Scratch/Refund Policy will be applied to any horse entered through the FEI system and/or entered directly with the show. Note: In the case of a scratch, also be sure to contact your NF to officially withdraw through the FEI Entry System.
SUBSTITUTIONS - Substitutions will be accepted until one hour prior to the jog. The horse being substituted for will be subject to a $50 Processing fee if it does not show in any other classes.

ELIGIBILITY - Open to Riders eligible based on FEI Rules for CSI-5* events. Refer to Draft Schedule.
HORSES PER RIDER LIMIT - Riders may enter a total of Three horses for the FEI Division. Riders are limited to Two horses in classes 721,722 & 723, and One horse in Class 725. Refer to Draft Schedule for details.
CLASS ENTRY / DECLARATION - Declarations must be made in writing in the Show Office by 5 pm the day before the class. After that time, the Post Entry fee will apply to late Declarations; Scratch fee will apply to any scratch. Once the class has started it may not be scratched. In the case of a Vet Scratch, Scratch fee will still apply. Exception: Declarations for the Saugerties $1 Million Grand Prix are due one hour after the $100,000 Hudson Valley Jumper Classic. Entry Fee is not refundable after that time.
CROSS ENTRY RESTRICTIONS - Horses and Riders may cross enter into any other National Class for which they are otherwise eligible. Exception: NEW May 13, 2016 Riders may not cross enter into the Junior/Amateur Section at the same show (USEF JP117.6.b).
SECURE STABLING - Horses entered in any class of the FEI Division are required to stable in the FEI Secure Stabling area beginning Tuesday immediately following the jog until the horse is finished showing in the FEI Division. Stalls are $375 for the week, and are of both permanent and temporary construction, measuring 144 square feet with doors. A limited number of Tack Stalls will be available. Horses must be entered in the FEI Division to be eligible for Secure Stabling. Secure Stabling Begins: Monday, September 4, 12 noon. Secure Stabling Ends: Monday, September 11, 12 noon.
OFFICIAL JOG - Tuesday, September 5, at 11 am. This jog is for horses entered in the FEI Division. Please check with the Stabling Office for stabling assignment prior to the jog. Horse must move into Secure Stabling immediately following the jog.
CREDENTIALS - Special credentials will be required for all owners, riders, trainers, grooms wishing to access the FEI Barn. Credentials will be distributed at the Jog.
IDENTIFICATION - Once the horse has entered Secure Stabling it must wear its assigned entry number when not in its stall. Horses may be ridden or exercised only in the supervised designated Schooling Areas.

RIDERS MEETING - FEI Riders are required to attend the HITS Championship Riders Meeting at the end of the Show Day Wednesday, September 6.
PRIZE MONEY DISTRIBUTION
The Show Committee reserves to itself the right to interpret any question or occurrence with regard to the conduct or compliance of any rider without claims for damages or recourse of any kind and the Show Committee's decision will be final.
