JUMPING to include sections for:

FEI Children’s (age 12-14) – Fences to 1.25m
FEI Junior (age 14-18) – Fences to 1.40m
FEI Young Rider (age 16-21) – Fences to 1.50m

JUMPING - SCHOOLING OF CHILDREN’S, JUNIOR AND YOUNG RIDER HORSES

From 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, to the end of the NAJYRC competition on Sunday, July 23, only the competition rider may ride his/her NAJYRC horse in or outside the horse show grounds.  Lungeing and work in hand by someone other than the NAJYRC rider is permitted under the supervision of the stewards. Violators are subject to disqualification. JR, Chapter II, Article 10.

SECURE STABLING: All jumping horses competing in NAJYRC must be in secure stabling by 9 AM Wednesday, July 19.  Jumping horses may enter secure stabling earlier, but will be subject to secure stabling rules once they enter.


 

DRESSAGE to include sections for:

FEI Junior (age 14-18)
FEI Young Rider (age 16-21)

DRESSAGE – SCHOOLING OF JUNIOR AND YOUNG RIDER HORSES

NAJYRC Horses may not have been schooled by anyone other than the Athlete after arrival at the Venue. This means, for instance, that a groom mounted in the saddle may walk the Horse on a long, safe rein and that lunging and verbal assistance from the ground from the trainer or his representative is permitted. FEI Art. 422.3.6.

SECURE STABLING - Dressage horses competing in the Young Rider NAJYRC must be in secure stabling by 7 am, Tuesday, July 18. Dressage horses competing in the Junior Rider NAJYRC must be in secure stabling by Noon, Wednesday, July 19.

 


IN BARN VET INSPECTIONS - All NAJYRC horses (jumping and dressage) are required to undergo an in-barn vet inspection upon arrival and prior to their jog. Vet inspections will take place at a designated area within the secured stabling area and will start on Monday, July 17.  Times will be posted. Horses must be presented for inspection with their FEI passport.
