On Sunday, June 13 the special events schedule goes into full swing during Purina Mills Kids Day. The event is always one of the most popular events at HITS-on-the-Hudson.
When Kids Day concludes, spectators are encouraged to watch some of the best competitors in the world compete for the top prize in the $125,000 Purina Mills Grand Prix.

Beneficiary: Since 1970, FAMILY has been an anchor for Ulster County area residents – a place where people are respectful and caring, and where the search for solutions is creative and tireless. FAMILY's shelters, emergency food pantries, court advocates, counseling and case management services, hotlines, and child-care supports all work together to help people achieve the changes they seek. Our services are, with few exceptions, free of charge and confidential. For 40 years, FAMILY has been a leader locally throughout Ulster County and in New York State, developing programming and support for people in need.
Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix

HITS is very excited to announce Pfizer Animal Health as the title sponsor of the Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix, which will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010, as the finale event of the HITS Saugerties Summer Series in Saugerties, NY. The Grand Prix will be the culmination of 54 qualifying opportunities in Grand Prix events at all of the 2010 HITS horse shows, including Thermal, Ocala, Arizona, Culpeper, and Saugerties.
“HITS is proud to join forces with the leader in equine health for this historic Grand Prix,” said Tom Struzzieri, HITS President and CEO. “Having Pfizer Animal Health's support as the title sponsor for the largest, most important event we've ever hosted is a true honor. The Festival Consists of four competitions. featuring 600 horses competing in classes from Training Level, the first step on the ladder, to Grand Prix, the pinnacle of the sport as seen in the Olympic Games.
