Competition Continues at the HITS Championship! Brian Moggre & MTM FLUTTERBY Steal the Win in the $35,700 Horseflight Jumper Classic! Another Winner was named in FEI CSI5* competition at the HITS Championship, and the first round of the Stal Hendrix Green Hunter Futurity got underway! One of the youngest competitors in FEI this week, Brian Moggre, added another international title to his growing record, and west coast rider Nick Haness leads the way in the Stal Hendix Green Hunter Futurity. A field of 40 riders joined us for the $35,700 Horseflight Jumper Classic FEI CSI5* in the Wilmington Trust Grand Prix Stadium. Eight of those riders jumped clear and return for the jump-off round. Returning fifth in the order was Brian Moggre aboard MTM FLUTTERBY to take home the blue ribbon. Moggre left no room to be caught with his incredible time of 37.47, over three seconds faster than the second place prize winner. Schuyler Riley had two rides in the Jumper Classic and made it to the jump-off aboard both. With a time of 40.56, Riley secured the second place ribbon aboard ROBING DE PONTHUAL. Rounding out the top three was Jenni McAllister and ESCADA VS, who returned fourth in the order, and claimed third place in a time of 42.44. The second round of the Stal Hendrix Green Hunter Futurity takes place today with Nick Haness and Cassandra Kahle holding onto the top three spots in the standings. Also happening today are the first rounds of the Diamond Mills $250,000 and Platinum Performance $100,000 Hunter Prix Final, taking place in the Outside Course.
