NY (April 27, 2010)— Definitely Devoucoux! The highly-acclaimed
Devoucoux Hunter Derby will be making its debut at HITS Culpeper
and HITS Saugerties for the spring and summer show season.
The Devoucoux Hunter Derby found huge success this past winter
at HITS Thermal and HITS Ocala, giving away $10,000 in prize money
for each class during the rated weeks of competition.
Greg Sadovic of Devoucoux witnessed the overwhelming success of
this innovative event at HITS Ocala. "We are very excited about
the turnout for such a fantastic class," commented Sadovic. "We
are happy to support the hunters and the level of competition
they bring to the horse show."
Kristen Bumpus of Concord, Massachusetts, won back-to-back derbies
at HITS Ocala on Inspired. "There are two Grand Prix classes
every week and so much prize money in the jumpers, so it's really
nice to have a prestigious hunter class with a great purse."
The Devoucoux Hunter Derby will be featured at HITS Culpeper with
a weekly $5,000 purse up for grabs week's I-V.
In Saugerties, the Devoucoux Derby's prize money doubles to $10,000
during weeks I, II, III, V & VI as juniors, amateurs and professionals
compete for the blue and prestige of winning the popular class
during HITS-on-the-Hudson.
The Devoucoux Hunter Derby is the latest addition to the Marshall
& Sterling League, and provides riders the opportunity to earn
points towards the Marshall & Sterling League Finals, which takes
place September 16 - 19 at HITS Saugerties.

In order to qualify for the Pfizer
$1 Million Grand Prix, a rider must compete in eight or
more HITS Grand Prix classes. The top 40 riders, based on money
won by horse/rider combination, will be eligible to ride for
