SAUGERTIES, NY (September 14, 2009)The group of exhibitors from New Jersey's Hunters Crossing Farm continued their success at the 2009 Marshall & Sterling League National Finals when Kendall Fately (Basking Ridge, New Jersey) captured the crown in the Marshall & Sterling Children's Medal--Horse at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, New York.

"What a thrill for Kendall," said trainer Robert Beck. "She is such a hard worker and deserves a lot of credit for the win. She gets a tremendous amount of support from her family and I am glad her mom was here today to watch her big victory."

At the 2009 Finals, Beck's exhibitors have been on a tremendous run. In the Adult Hunters, longtime client Kelly Champion rode Mistletoe to the Championship to highlight the week for the New Jersey based barn. Youngster Coreen Gilligan led her pony Hidden Spring's Basil to the title in the Children's Hunter Pony Division as the ribbons and trophies piled up for Beck's bunch.

In the Marshall & Sterling Children's Medal--Pony it was Liana Cohen (New York, New York) that made her way to the top of the mountain when she outlasted 57 other riders in the first round and the additional 12 that were brought back to test by judges Jimmy Lee and Otis Brown.

The 11-year-old has been training at The Quoge Farm with Ross Reisner for about five years. It is her second year in the irons aboard her pony In the Game."Last year they took the time to get used to each other," said Reisner. "It certainly paid off because they were a fantastic pair today."

The Central Equine Junior Medal wrapped up the competition at the 2009 Finals and saw Elizabeth Benson (Whitehouse Station, New Jersey) rise to the top of the class when she outlasted a field of 45 riders in the first round and the 12 that were brought back for additional testing to win the blue and close out a tremendous week of equestrian competition at the Finals.

Show jumping at the Marshall & Sterling League National Finals has now concluded for another successful season. This year's Marshall & Sterling League National Finals featured competition in 13 divisions, including the all-new $5,000 3'3" Marshall & Sterling Hunter Derby.
