You are invited to attend a Press Reception on Friday, January 27 at 12:30 PM in the Oasis VIP Club at the HITS Indio Desert Circuit Horse Park.

A light lunch will be served and members of the press can meet with Grand Prix riders, Charity Partners, and HITS Staff: Chris Mayone, Press Officer; John Eickman, National Marketing Director; and Tony Hitchcock, Senior Vice President, HITS.

The Press Reception will coincide with the $30,000 Ariat Grand Prix, the first of 12 Grand Prix events at the 2006 Indio Desert Circuit.

Indio Desert Circuit

Now in its fifteenth consecutive year, the Indio Desert Circuit will run from January 24 through March 12, and each week will feature approximately 250 classes including a Grand Prix every Friday and Sunday, four of which are qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup Finals. More than $1,000,000 in prize money will be awarded over the course of the circuit.

With 3,200 stalls available, the 80-acre HITS Desert Horse Park can comfortably accommodate the more than 3,500 horses and 10,000 horsemen from Canada, Mexico, Europe and all regions of the U.S. that travel to Indio to compete over the course of the circuit.

With exciting competitions to watch, beautiful show grounds to enjoy, and fun-filled special events to attend, spectators are also sure to enjoy all that this year's Indio Desert Circuit has to offer.
