Saugerties,
New York (January 12, 2006)--HITS is proud
to announce that Farnam Companies, Inc. will once
again be sponsoring the Adult Hunter Division
at all HITS venues, at the more than 700 Marshall
& Sterling League member events, and at the 2006
Marshall & Sterling League Finals. The Farnam
Adult Hunter Division is an important division
at each of HITS' five venues around the country,
all of which attract tens of thousands of horsemen
each year. The Farnam Adult Hunter Division at
the Marshall & Sterling League Finals, which will
be held at HITS-ON-THE-HUDSON
in Saugerties, New York in September, will attract
some of the top horse and rider combinations in
the country.
Farnam,
which began more than fifty years ago as a mail-order
business, has grown into a leader in the animal
healthcare industry, and the most trusted name
in horse care products. Today, Farnam is the largest
marketer of equine products in the United States,
and also distributes on several continents. Their
products, the Official Horse Care Products of
HITS, serve performance as well as companion animals,
and include fly control solutions, nutritional
supplements, hoof and leg care products, grooming
supplies, wound treatments, leather care, stable
supplies, and de-wormers. Samples of many of these
products will be available on the show grounds,
in the Rider's Welcome Kits and on VIP tables
at the horse shows. More information can also
be found at www.Farnamhorse.com.
"This
is our second year of sponsoring HITS," said
Chris Jacobi, President of Farnam's Horse Products
Division. He continued, "HITS is particularly
appealing to us because amateurs and the grassroots
of the sport, which are such a big part of our
market, are also a big part of HITS' horse shows,
and HITS provides us with a great opportunity
to engage this market."
"We're
pleased to count Farnam as a long-standing sponsor
of our horse shows. It's obvious from their exceptional
equine products that Farnam knows horses and we're
very appreciative of their support, and of their
commitment to the sport," says Tom Struzzieri,
President of HITS.
There
are Farnam Adult Hunter classes at every HITS
horse show. Be sure to check www.HitsShows.com/resultswinter_06.html
