Kids day is always one of the most popular events at HITS. The afternoon is full of family fun and entertainment. This popular event includes a bounce house, clowns, music and special exhibitions. The Ocala Recreation and Parks will be on-site with arts and craft stations, science discovery centers and many other activities geared toward children. This is a fun filled family day that will bring a smile to everyone! Activities kick off around noon-see you then!

Golf Swing Clinic & Spa Experience
sponsored by Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club
12 noon - 2 pm
A golf clinic will be conducted at HITS Restaurant from 12-12:30 by Golden Ocala's Head Golf Professional Jay Kragh and Golf Director Mike Cooney covering the basic fundamentals of golf: grip, stance, posture, back swing and downswing. The clinic will be followed by a question and answer session about the golf swing and golf at Golden Ocala. Both right and left-handed clubs will be available to participants. Complimentary logo balls and yardage books will be distributed from 12-2pm.
The Spa Experience at HITS restaurant: Strengthen your muscles and improve your riding ability through personal fitness training. Overcome rounded shoulders, weak lower legs and achieve a deep seat through personal fitness. Two fitness instructors and two massage therapists will demonstrate fitness strengthening exercises and massage modalities specific to fitness conditioning as well as aromatherapy oils for stress reduction.

The action is at HITS restaurant during this fun filled exhibitor party! Have you got what it takes to be a HIT? Move from the show ring to center stage and give it your all. A select panel of judges will provide you words of wisdom as they judge the fun filled competition. The winner will have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Sunday, March 9th, Grand Prix! This could be your lucky break!

World of the Horse
12 noon
Numerous breeds of horses will be represented in a colorful parade sure to delight all horse lovers. Special demonstrations will take place during the day celebrating the World of the Horse including dressage exhibitions by Horses Unlimited and the Lusitano Breed from Brazil. HITS Official Radio Station, Thunder Country WTRS 102.3 will be on-site doing a live broadcast to round out the day!

Presentation of the Ocala Style Award
Sponsored by HITS Ocala's Official City Publication, Ocala Style, the Ocala Style Award recipient is selected by the jumper judges at the Ocala Winter Circuit, the horseshow personnel in positions of knowledge, including the show management, back gate personnel, stewards, announcers and others over the course of the entire Circuit.
This special award will be given to the rider who exhibits the best American style of riding and possesses the respectful, dignified, courteous and workmanlike manner of a true sportsman on the 2008 Ocala Winter Circuit. The Ocala Style award will be presented prior to the $100,000 DeLuca Toyota Tundra Grand Prix presented by Great American Insurance Group.
