| The Equitation Classic |
THE R.W. MUTCH EQUITATION CLASSIC
At the Ocala Winter Celebration (VI), March 16-21 |

| ELIGIBILITY |
| Open to junior riders who have won any USEF Medal, ASPCA Maclay, USEF Talent Search or WIHS Equitation Classic (either phase or overall) from any series of AA shows of 3 (three) weeks or longer after January 1, 2010. |
| FORMAT |
| Round I: |
To compete over a course of fences set at 3'6" to include gymnastics, trot fences, oxers, verticles and combinations. |
| Round II: |
The top ten will return in reverse order. The course will consist of 8-10 jumps set at 3'6", 1 (one) simple change of lead and 1 (one) flying change of lead |
| Round III: |
At judges discretion. May include USEF Equitation tests 1-19. |
| SPECIFICATIONS |
| To be judged by two panels each consisting of one hunter judge and one jumper rider/trainer using the open numerical judging system. A fifth and/or sixth judge/steward will observe in the schooling area and make a report to the panel prior to the scores being totaled. |

Additional Rules Governig the Competition |

All horses must remain in the schooling area under the supervision of the judge/steward and the paddock managers. |

Riders are responsible for the course walk as well as the management and schooling of their own horse. |
|
• |
Riders will not be allowed to leave the designated schooling area, rider seating area or holding area at any time unless accompanied by a steward. |
|
• |
Trainers will not be allowed to enter the designated schooling area, rider seating area or holding area at any time. |
|
• |
Any communication between the rider and trainer will result in immediate elimination. |
|
• |
All cell phones and similar devices will be collected and returned at the conclusion
of the class. |
