National Sunshine Series

During early November, The National Sunshine Series awards over $1 million in prize money over two weeks in Southern California . The series, at HITS Desert Horse Park in Thermal and is rated USEF Premier Hunters and 5* and  6* Jumpers.  Week I features the USHJA Zone 10 HOTY Jumper & Equitation Championships, the NCEA West Coast Junior Hunt Seat Medal Finals, the $50,000 Sunshine Series Grand Prix, and the West Coast Pony Hunter Final.  Week II is a FEI CSI4* competition  featuring the $200,000 FEI Sunshine Series Grand Prix, in addition to a $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, the Sunshine Equitation Championships, and the USHJA Zones 9 & 10 Team Jumper Championships. HITS Desert Horse Park offers an upscale VIP pavilion offering gourmet cuisine, other restaurant options on the show grounds, and comfortable ringside seating for spectators.
