Enjoy Virginian hospitality at its finest at HITS Culpeper! This year, HITS Culpeper will feature eight weeks of USEF competition in the heart of Virginia’s Horse Country. Just one hour from Washington, D.C., HITS Commonwealth Park boasts a 100+ acre permanent horse show facility with 500 permanent stalls, six competition rings and a climate-controlled restaurant. The restaurant includes an outdoor dining deck that overlooks the Grand Prix ring for friends and family to enjoy each day of competition. HITS Culpeper has hosted numerous USEF and USHJA Championships over the years including the USEF Pony Finals, USHJA Zone Team Jumper Championships. and the USHJA Zone 3 Junior Equitation Championship.

HITS is proud to carry on the 120-year tradition of horse sport in the charming town of Culpeper, named “The Best Small Town in Virginia” and “One of America’s Top 10 Small Towns” by Norman Crampton, author of “The 100 Best Small Towns in America.”

Getting to the show: 

From the North (Warrenton): Take US 15/29 South to the Culpeper area. Take the US 522/VA Route 3 Exit West, towards Fredericksburg. Turn left off the ramp and then turn right onto 522 South. Commonwealth Park will be on the left, about 4 miles South of Route 522/3. Spectator parking is located just off the main entrance to the right. Parking is free.

From the South (Charlottesville): Take US 29 North to the Culpeper area. Take the US 522/VA Route 3 Exit West, towards Fredericksburg. Turn right off the ramp and then turn right onto 522 South. Commonwealth Park will be on the left, about 4 miles South of Route 522/3. Spectator parking is located just off the main entrance to the right. Parking is free.

From the East (Fredericksburg): Take VA 3 West towards Culpeper. Turn left (South) on US 522. Commonwealth Park will be on the left, about 4 miles South of Route 522/3. Spectator parking is located just off the main entrance to the right. Parking is free.
