ShowNet Adds Upgraded Amenities to HITS Winter Show Circuits

Saugerties, NY (December 12, 2016): HITS Inc. announced today that ShowNet, show jumping’s leading tracking and live streaming service, will launch at the 2017 HITS Coachella Desert Circuit and offer upgraded features to the already existing ShowNet capabilities at the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit.

Throughout the winter show season, HITS exhibitors across the country can expect deluxe digital services provided by ShowNet including: a results service on the ShowNet mobile app and for ShowNet members; email alert system which includes pre-start information, tracked entry alerts, final results, live video, class start times; and the opportunity to purchase, maintain and view competition videos through a personal footage library.

In its first year in California, ShowNet will provide its Ring Update and Results service for four competition rings with a Shownet “Grand Prix Level” subscription. Grand Prix Level subscription offers include: access to all live results and ring status data for participating horse shows; access to all ShowNet Live Streaming for a 12-month period featuring over 60 shows in 2017; and access to all ShowNet historic Grand Prix individual clip footage.

“HITS prides itself on offering its customers a premier product— from footing, to hospitality experience, to stabling; and now, with the help of ShowNet, we can give our clients across the country access to real-time results, class updates and video content,” said HITS President and CEO Tom Struzzieri. “Through implementation of these advanced digital services, HITS clients will have access to continuous, important data from the ease of their mobile devices or smartphones.”

Most notably, the extended partnership will include live streaming of the Grand Prix Ring all day, every day, through the ShowNet streaming platform. Additionally, weekly Grand Prix will be available free on the HITS website courtesy of ShowNet.

“ShowNet is very pleased to extend and deepen our partnership with HITS, the largest Show Jumping producer in the U.S.,” said ShowNet Spokesperson, Grant Williams. “We have provided our results and basic individual video clip service to the HITS Ocala and Saugerties circuits for the past two years and we are delighted that HITS has offered to broaden the horse show participation for ShowNet to include the Coachella Desert Circuit in California.”

HITS’ partnership with ShowNet will also continue to benefit the HITS Saugerties exhibitor throughout the spring, summer and fall shows.
