Saugerties, NY (June 27, 2016):
HITS, Inc. is pleased to announce the imminent arrival of its first administrative staff member at the newly acquired Balmoral Park in Crete, Illinois. A recent addition to the HITS Team, Siri DuPont-Hurley will be on-site at Balmoral as of July 11, 2016, coordinating renovation logistics and delving headfirst into community outreach and sponsorship. Siri and the HITS support staff look forward to building relationships with local businesses, organizations and vendors, as well as coordinating communication about upcoming Balmoral Park developments.
HITS has already broken ground at Balmoral. The company will execute a detailed property upgrade that includes remodeling the existing permanent stabling to include modern amenities with the character of the historic barns, and construction of six hunter rings and four jumper rings. The revival of the horse park will keep memorable symbols from the past and present, specifically in the Grand Prix Stadium, which will display the racetrack’s original tote board.
The existing property boasts a 4,467 seat mint-condition grand stand, as well as a state of the art VIP Clubhouse, with spectacular amenities that feature the highest levels of architectural development. Clubhouse patrons will enjoy indoor, climate controlled seating overlooking all of the competition rings, adding to the first class hospitality experience HITS is known for across the country.
Similar to HITS’ other show jumping destinations across the country, the communities surrounding Balmoral Park will once again feel the positive economic impact as a result of a bustling horse park.
“This is an exciting time for HITS and for the local community,” said DuPont-Hurley. “This venue is a historic part of South Chicago, and there is so much to come with Balmoral. We look forward to building relationships within the area and with those who are as energized by its potential as we are.”
